This 3.1-mile loop circumnavigated the 90-acre Hinckley Lake and passes by Johnson's Picnic Area. You can stop at the picnic area and enjoy a snack while watching the local anglers try to catch dinner. You can also connect to the 3.3-mile All Purpose Trail that passes the East Drive Ballfields. If you want to spend all afternoon hiking, there are plenty of miles to explore at Hinckley Reservation. However, you should keep a close eye on your park trail map. Some trails must be shared by equestrians. Additionally, you can access the 1,444-mile Buckeye Trail from the Hinckley Lake Loop trail. 3. Austin Badger Park Trail Finally, we recommend the Austin Badger Park Trail, accessible from Austin Badger Park at 5741 River Styx Rd. This 3.5-mile paved loop trail offers a moderate challenge due to its many hills, but it is well worth checking out.
