2023 Honda Passport

The much-acclaimed 2023 Honda Passport is finally here for the American market, and it’s no surprise to us that car buyers are looking to get their hands on it. Featuring a powerful engine and build capable of driving through all conditions, the Honda Passport is an all-around crossover SUV that scores high in comfort, performance, safety, and durability. Honda has once again released this year’s Passport in 3 trim levels, which we’ll take a look at here.

The EX-L

The base trim of this year’s Honda Passport, the EX-L trim starts off powerful with the same engine and performance configurations as the higher trims. Its V6 engine clocks 280 horsepower and 262lbs of torque, making it one of the most powerful crossover SUVs available this year.

Another area where Honda isn’t cutting any corners is safety, and sure enough, the base trim of the 2023 Passport comes equipped with every active and passive safety feature in Honda’s much-acclaimed Honda Sensing Driver Assistance Package. And beyond just safety, the EX-L trim has several cool comfort and styling features as well, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, power side mirrors, and Honda’s upgraded Infotainment system with a touchscreen monitor.

The TrailSport

At the TrailSport trim level, Honda turns its 2023 Passport into more of a sporty, off-road SUV. The Passport now comes equipped with roof rails, rugged all-season tires, heated windshield wipers, automatic LED fog lights, and all-season floor mats.

With a trim built for long family road trips in all weather, it seems like Honda understands that comfort is also important on the TrailSport as well. This trim level sees Honda’s introduction of leather-trimmed seats with Honda’s signature orange stitching, ambient interior lighting, second-row sunshades, a passenger seat power outlet, and an illuminated cupholder.

The Elite

To round off its 2023 Passport trim lineup, Honda adds some luxurious finishing touches to the Elite trim of the 2023 Passport, improving the comfort and usability of the car for drivers and passengers while keeping most of the sporty features of the TrailSport trim.

The added features include a heated steering wheel, courtesy door lights, front seat ventilation, acoustic glass side door windows, a 10-speaker surround sound audio system with a subwoofer, and WiFi capability.
