Round up the family, load up the Honda, and enjoy the fun fall activities happening in and around Medina, OH. From joining the annual candlelight walk to kicking off the festive season in style, we bring you the best activities to do this fall.

1. Medina Candlelight Walk

Kick off the holiday season by joining thousands of Ohioans for the 40th Medina Candlelight Walk on November 22-24 in Downtown Medina. Friday night marks the turning on of more than 20,000 lights, luminaries, and candles to start the holiday season off in style, while Saturday is the day of the Parade of Lights and the much anticipated Light Up The Night Fireworks display.

Throughout the weekend, you and the family can enjoy the fun and soak up the atmosphere while exploring the nine-block historic district for some late-night shopping and dining.

2. Canton Holiday Pickle Fest

If you fancy a short drive in your Civic, Passport, or Pilot, put Saturday, November 30 in your diary for a day of family fun. Stark County Fairground at 305 Wertz Avenue in Canton is the venue for the amazing Canton Holiday Pickle Fest 2024.

Celebrating everything pickle-related, this free event doubles as a unique marketplace where pickle companies peddle their wares. Sample tasty treats, including pickle dumplings, pickle lemonade, and even pickle-flavored donuts. Enjoy live music, entertainment, and activities, including a scavenger hunt to keep the little ones (and the big kids) entertained.

3. Castle Noel

It may be open throughout the year, but there’s no better time to visit Castle Noel than in the run-up to the festive season. Located at 260 South Court Street, America’s largest year-round Christmas entertainment attraction is a truly magical place. Enter through the North Pole Blizzard Vortex before going through Santa Squeeze to see how Santa feels coming down the chimney.

Climb and slide down Santa Klaus Mountain before taking a sleigh ride or seeing the huge collection of movie memorabilia from all your favorite Christmas movies. And, if you’re of a certain age, take a nostalgia trip at the “I Had That” experience, where toys from the 1950s to the 1980s are displayed for all the ‘older kids’ to reminisce about.

Whether you head to Canton or stay local, you’ll need a smart Honda to get you to your activities in style. Visit Rick Roush Honda in Medina, OH today, and find the perfect vehicle to take you and the family on all your fall adventures.
