2022 Honda Pilot

The 2022 Pilot has a sculpted hood, 18-inch wheels, angular automatic headlights, and a black grille with the Honda emblem in the center. The grille has a horizontal chrome bar, and there's a smaller lower grille. Seven trim levels are available: Sport, EX-L, Touring, Elite, Black Edition, Special Edition, and TrailSport. Standard features include rear privacy glass, all-season tires, a rear windshield wiper and washer, a spoiler, fog lights, and heated power side mirrors with turn signals.

You'll also get roof rails, a skid plate, a sculpted hood, 20-inch wheels, all-season tires, and sculpted sides. You can add a power moonroof, a hands-free power liftgate, running boards, acoustic glass, and power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors with memory settings. Sporty graphics for the sides, hood, and wheels are available as well.

The Pilot's V-6 engine provides 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. It uses a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters for the steering wheel.

The Pilot has a smooth, efficient, maneuverable ride. A variable cylinder management system saves fuel by only activating the number of cylinders needed. The engine also shuts off when you pause in traffic to reduce idling. Accessories like the air conditioner stay on to keep you comfortable. You'll also get active noise cancelation, power steering, and an independent suspension. The optional all-wheel drive has intelligent variable torque management, and it can move each wheel independently for better traction. It also has sand, snow, and mud driving modes.

The interior comes with a curved, modern-looking dashboard, a USB audio interface, controls on the steering wheel, folding third-row seats, voice recognition, a 215-watt audio system with seven speakers and a subwoofer, and speed-sensitive volume control. Other standard features include three 12-volt power outlets, an 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, push-button start, a lockable glove compartment, and three-zone automatic climate control. You'll also get a 10-way power driver's seat with lumbar settings.

You can add wireless charging, navigation, and a 10.2-inch rear entertainment system with a BluRay player, an HDMI interface, and two sets of wireless headphones. A 115-volt power outlet, a 590-watt audio system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and blue or red ambient lighting are optional as well. You can also choose an auto-dimming rearview mirror and memory settings for the driver's seat and side mirrors.

The 2022 Honda Pilot comes with automatic emergency braking, a multi-angle rearview camera, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assistance. Blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert are standard as well. The advanced front airbags can activate using different levels of force to protect you and your passengers in many types of accidents. You can add front and rear parking sensors.
