The new Honda Civic at Detroit Auto Show

The ninth-generation Honda Civic will be making its first appearance this spring at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.

American Honda Motor Company Inc. will then unveil the newest evolution of its popular sedan at the world-renowned North American International Auto Show.

According to spokesman Ron Lietzke, the car being shown in Detroit might not be the final production version of the Civic. It could still change slightly, as, if any, changes will be small.

Honda Testing Electric Cars

Honda announced plans with Kumamoto Prefecture to advance their Electric Vehicle Testing Program for "next-generation personal mobility products," ie: electric vehicles (EVs). Earlier this month, Honda announced its Electric Vehicle Testing Programs in the US and Japan, and is also considering China.
